Not quite sure what to think of this...
I had my clinical day yesterday at the hospital. A nice lady from human resources came in to give us an employment package and details on getting hired. Great! Could not wait to tell her that I am ready to apply.
Her speech included these lovely phrases..."We are not hiring for L&D", "The competition is so great!", and "We posted a job and thought we would get 20 applications, instead we got 200!!!" Perfect!!!
Fantastic news huh???
I thought they needed nurses.
The field is getting saturated.
I am getting nervous!
I spent the last 5 years busting my butt to become a nurse.
I know the Lord wants me here but it is hard to hear. It reminds me that I just have to start praying now that a job opens up when I am ready to work. I still cannot believe it.

You can always build on this degree...become a certified nurse-midwife and actually *deliver* the babies! :)
