Fall Tradition

When Brendan was born, he was in the NICU for 2.5 weeks. By the time we brought Brendan home, it was around Halloween time and we decided to take Brendan to the pumpkin patch for his first outing. We took him to Pumpkin City's Pumpkin Patch. It was such a nice night and our first real night as a family. It is one of my most favorite memories.

Every year we make it a family tradition to go to the same pumpkin patch and take this same picture. I had tears in my eyes tonight seeing my big boy running around. It just seems like yesterday that I was caring for this tiny little baby. It is a bittersweet time. It so fun to have a toddler, yet so sad to see time flying so fast.
