Sorry Martha!

Martha Stewart sells these lovely pom-pom decorations that I fell in love with. The problem: They are $12.00 for 3 pom poms. That can get so expensive depending on the type of party you are throwing.

A huge thanks goes out to my sister in law, she sent me the link on how to make these cute decorations. They are SO easy! And the best part is that you can choose any tissue paper color you need. Sorry Martha, I will not be buying these from you.

Directions:

1. Stack (8) 20" x 30" sheets of tissue.
2. Make 1 1/2 inch wide accordion folds, creasing with each fold.
3. Fold an 18" piece of floral wire in half and slip over the center folded tissue and twist. (You can use whatever twine you wish as long as it wraps tightly in the center)
4. Trim ends of tissue strips into rounded or pointed shapes.
5. Separate layers, pulling away from center on at a time.
You can click on the picture above to look at them in detail.

Have so much fun!
Here is a picture of a pom pom with various colors of tissue and rounded edges. SO CUTE!
